Meet Our Excelsior Homes Family
Jeff & Sandra Munsell, Owners
Excelsior Homes was established in 1967 by George Munsell in Excelsior, Minnesota. Six years later, George’s son & daughter-in-law, Jeff & Sandra, moved the business to beautiful Hutchinson, Minnesota, under the name Excelsior Homes West, Inc. Together, Jeff & Sandra built their long-standing business by offering quality products, unmatched service, and building long-term, trusting relationships with their customers. Although they have passed a lot of their duties onto their son, Beau Munsell, and daughter & son-in-law, Jessica & Jason Verhasselt, you will still find them hanging around the office and assisting where needed. Much of the decorating of the model homes is still the creative work of Sandra. In their free time, you will find them spending time with family and friends at the lake, in Arizona, or on the golf course.
Beau Munsell, President
Beau’s experience in the modular and manufactured home industry started when he was in high school, working alongside the Excelsior Homes service crew. After graduating from college in 1997, he joined the family business, full-time, as a salesperson. Over the years he has become an expert in modular and manufactured homes and has the knowledge and skills to help customers build their dream homes. With Beau, you will have a very professional, personalized, and hands-on experience. In Beau’s free time, you will likely find him relaxing at home with his family, fishing, or on the golf course.
Jason Verhasselt, Vice President
With over 10 years of in-field construction experience, Jason joined the family business in January 2005. His role at Excelsior Homes includes Vice President, General Contractor, and Service Manager. With his construction training and experience, he was quick to learn the ins and outs of the modular and manufactured home industry. Jason continues to learn by attending many continuing education courses focused on construction and manufactured housing. Jason and his family have lived in their Schult Modular Home for nearly 20 years; he believes in what he sells. In his free time, you will likely find him with family and friends at the lake, on the golf course, or cheering on his children at their events.
Jessica Verhasselt, Office Manager
With a degree from Gustavus Adolphus in Elementary Education, joining the family business was not exactly the life path Jessica envisioned for herself, but she is happy that life has led her back home. Always proud of her parent’s business, she was thrilled to join the team in the fall of 2005 and follow in their footsteps. Her role includes office manager, bookkeeper, web & social media marketing, interior designer/decorator, and much more! In her free time, you will find her at the lake with her family and friends, on the golf course, or cheering on her three children at their school and sporting events.
