Montevideo Building Award – Schult Modular
The Montevideo Building Award Program, from the City of Montevideo, Minnesota, presented us with a Certificate of Special Recognition. Excelsior Homes completed a new home construction project, named Best Residential New Home – 2014. The home was manufactured by Schult Homes of Redwood Falls, MN. Excelsior Homes West, Inc. acted as the General Contractor, completing the on-site construction services. The Hutchinson Leader shared the announcement in our local news.

Excelsior Homes – Contractor : What is the process?
We are extremely thankful to have received this award from the City of Montevideo. We completed this new residential project in 2014. Excelsior Homes West, Inc. has been in the business a long time . With over 40 years in business we have the process of modular homes and construction down to a tee! We are a licensed General Contractor in MN and ND. We can sell just the home or we can complete the entire project. In the case of this home, where we received the Montevideo Building Award, we acted as the General Contractor. We completed the whole project from start to finish. The modular home buying process involves communication between Excelsior Homes and the home buyer. First, we help design the right modular home for each buyer. We take in consideration the layout of the land. We offer two types of modular homes, Schult Homes of Redwood Falls, MN and Stratford Homes of Stratford, WI. Each brand can be customized. Next, we determine what on-site construction services are needed (i.e. excavation, foundation, plumbing & heating, electric, well, septic, etc.). Our sales person will handle the ordering of the modular home. Our construction manager will handle scheduling and communication with our highly qualified sub-contractors.
