2021 Pantone Colors of the Year
Color of the year – There are two colors this year! Pantone selected two colors to highlight for 2021: Ultimate gray (17-5104), a light gray, and Illuminating (13-0647), a bright yellow.
- Home Office Space – More than ever people are looking for a home office space in their home. A functional, well-thought-out space to work at home when needed. Keeping a functional at-home school space for families is also a reality.
- Natural decor – Plants, neutral colors, earth tones all remain popular.
- Wallpaper – Patterned wallpaper has been peeking into more and more homes, it will continue to gain popularity this year.
- Functionality and Comfort – People have spent more time at home in the last year than normal. Large pantries are important, comfortable living spaces matter, and having appropriate spaces for Zoom calls, Google Meets and telehealth visits are more important than ever.
Exterior Home Trends
A year of Covid, social distancing, and staying home more than normal has created an even larger demand for outdoor living spaces.
