Cabin/Lake Homes
When you are searching for Cabin or Lake homes what types of homes appeal to you? At Excelsior Homes West, Inc., we can build cabin or lake style homes as modular or manufactured homes. We offer a variety of floor plans that look great on lake lots or forested areas. Our modular home cabins and lake homes would be placed on a crawl space or basement, whereas our manufactured homes would be placed on frost piers and skirted. Deciding between building a modular or manufactured home depends on your needs and the land you build on.
Cape Cod
Cape Cod homes are symmetrical in design with a central front door surrounded by windows on each side. This style of home is usually a one-and-a-half story home (main level with a loft, attic space) with optional dormers. We can build modular Cape Cods with our Stratford Homes manufacturer located in Stratford, Wisconsin. These types of homes make great city homes, country retreats, or lake cabins.
Rambler
Rambler homes are single story floor plans that have long, close to the ground profiles. This type of home is our most popular style we build at Excelsior Homes West, Inc. We can build rambler style homes as modular or manufactured homes through both of our manufacturers, Schult Homes and Stratford Homes. These types of homes can usually be the most cost effective for large square footage homes.
Loft
Loft homes are a popular style option for cabin or lake retreats. These types of homes are multi-level homes with the second level including a loft that opens up to the living area below. We are able to design and built a variety of loft modular homes through our custom manufacturer, Stratford Homes. Loft modular homes are designed to be placed on a either crawl space foundation or basement. Many options to choose from for both the interior and exterior.
Two Story
If you are looking for a larger square footage home but have little land space, building up with a two story home may be a good option. Two story floor plans usually feature the main living areas on the main level with bedrooms on the upper levels. Master bedrooms can be offered on either level depending on your wants. These types of homes we can offer through our custom manufacturer, Stratford Homes.
